Bernadette Smith CHRL, PMP, is a results oriented individual who values hard work and is dedicated to finding ways to keep employees safe in the workplace. She is highly specialised in operational health & safety, change management and project management. Bernadette is renowned for having a logical and effective approach to problem solving and employee relations issues. Having experience in telecommunications, customer care, manufacturing, automotive, collision, reconditioning, printing, municipal government, farming, tool & die, not-for profit and legal services environments as well as exposure to union and non-union workplaces rounds off this seasoned HR professional’s qualifications. Bernadette is very capable of providing both strategic and operational services to her clients.

Bernadette’s diverse education and solid professional development brings a wealth of experience to In House Human Resources. She holds the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation, the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, a BA in Psychology, and a diploma in Business/Human Resources. In addition, she has a Masters Certificate in Project Management (MCPM), an Osgoode Certificate in HR Law for HR Professionals, is a certified joint health and safety committee member, and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
